Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team as a Senior Social Worker (AFC) in Kingston & Richmond, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families. This position offers a competitive rate of £39.04 per hour (Umbrella). As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for leading assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide effective safeguarding interventions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and partners. Providing expert advice and support to junior staff and colleagues within the team. Ensuring compliance with local and national safeguarding policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Extensive experience in safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
