As a Qualified Social Worker in the North Locality Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and legislation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
