We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker for our Children Services team (ID 04267). In this vital role, you will provide support and advocacy for children and families in need, ensuring their well-being and safety. You will engage with families to assess their needs, develop intervention plans, and connect them with appropriate resources. Your work will directly impact the lives of children, helping to create a nurturing environment for their growth and development.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address identified issues. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support. Advocating for children's rights and best interests in various settings, including court hearings and community meetings. Maintaining accurate and confidential records of casework and progress.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Social Worker in your state. Strong knowledge of child welfare laws, policies, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Additional requirements include a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks.
