Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Cafcass to recruit 2 Agency Family Court Advisers (FCA) on a temporary basis, supporting services across Essex and Norfolk/Suffolk.

As an Agency FCA, you will work with children and families involved in private law proceedings, providing high‑quality analysis and recommendations to the Family Court. You will:
Undertake safeguarding work and child-focused assessmentsEngage directly with children, ensuring their needs, wishes and feelings inform all recommendationsProduce clear, analytical court reportsWork collaboratively with parents, local authorities and partner agenciesContribute professional expertise to court processesEssential CriteriaQualified Social WorkerRegistered with Social Work England (SWE)Enhanced DBSRight to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)Desirable CriteriaMinimum 3 years post‑qualifying experience
