We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in West Berkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in our community.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and develop appropriate plans Providing support and intervention to families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as requiredEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in children's services Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionalsAdditional requirements or benefits:
