Join our dedicated Family Placement Team in West Berkshire as a Children's Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to support vulnerable children and families, ensuring their needs are met while promoting their well-being and safety. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and local communities to provide high-quality social work services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family dynamics. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual family situations. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families in crisis. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in family placement or fostering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
