Are you a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Margate area? We are currently seeking a passionate professional to join our Assessment & Duty team within Kent, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). This is an excellent chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Qualified Social Worker in the Assessment & Duty team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Collaborating with families, schools, and other agencies to develop effective support plans. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Documenting case notes and reports in compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
