We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work Team (CSWT) in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, focusing on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the welfare and safety of children. Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and intervention. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
