Cheshire East is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection (CP) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children at risk. Your expertise will guide families through challenging situations, working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver the best outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing child protection plans in accordance with statutory guidelines. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a child protection setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
