Join our dynamic team in Lowestoft as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) within the Children in Care (CIC) Team. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a supportive team dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for children in care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families. Ensuring compliance with legislation and safeguarding policies. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to case reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work under pressure.

As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in your care. Your expertise will contribute to creating positive outcomes for children and their families, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies.
