Join our dedicated team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in the Assessment and Staying Together Team. We are committed to providing high-quality support and intervention for families and children in need. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing effective care plans, and ensuring that appropriate services are in place to support family reunification and stability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Providing ongoing support and monitoring progress to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection, assessment, and working with families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
