Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Horsham, West Sussex, as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW). In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective safeguarding plans, while promoting positive family relationships and empowering parents to make sustainable changes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of family needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure cohesive support for families. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, addressing any barriers to engagement.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
