We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Learning Disability & Autism Team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact within our community. As a QSW, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and developing tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions. Advocating for the rights and needs of service users, ensuring their voices are heard. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure positive outcomes and compliance with legislation. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
