We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment Safeguarding Services team in the field of Qualified Social Work. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing and safeguarding vulnerable individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to determine their needs and risks. Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Provide expert guidance and support to junior social work staff, contributing to their professional development. Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings to advocate for the best interests of service users. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and confidentiality requirements.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrable experience in conducting complex assessments and interventions within a safeguarding context. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and stakeholders. Effective decision-making abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
