Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our dynamic SAS Team in Hartlepool. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, contributing to the well-being and development of children in need.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and their families. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Providing ongoing support, guidance, and intervention to children and families in crisis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of service delivery strategies.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
