We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Children's Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting their families. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to ensure the well-being of children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths, needs, and risks. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Developing and implementing individualized care plans and interventions. Providing counseling and support to children and families, facilitating access to resources and services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and progress.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Current social work licensure in the relevant state. Strong understanding of child welfare policies and procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience working with children and families in crisis situations.Additional requirements include a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
