We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Thurrock Children & Families Assessment Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families in need of support or protection Developing and implementing care plans to address identified needs Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience Sound knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation Excellent assessment and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
