Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support family stability and child welfare. Providing guidance and supervision to junior social workers and support staff. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience in child protection or family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
