Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in the Isle of Man as a Qualified Social Worker focusing on Adult Services. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, conducting assessments, and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide support and protection to those at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records while adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations. Providing support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues and best practices.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the Isle of Man Social Care Professionals Register. Experience in adult safeguarding, mental health, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
