We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support to vulnerable children and their families.
As a Social Worker in our CP/Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the safety and welfare of children. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including schools, health services, and law enforcement. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
