Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Support & Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children in need. You will also support vulnerable children and families in navigating complex situations, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care and support plans. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
