Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - CIC Team in Essex, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people in care. We are seeking passionate and qualified social workers who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Building strong relationships with children, families, and stakeholders to facilitate effective support and intervention. Monitoring and reviewing children’s progress and wellbeing, ensuring that their voices are heard and considered in decision-making. Providing expert advice and guidance to foster carers and other professionals to promote stability and security for children in care. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of strategies to improve outcomes for children.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families, preferably within the social care sector. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
