We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Support & Safeguarding team in Wiltshire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families within the community. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality support services, promote safeguarding practices, and empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users. Working closely with partner agencies, including health services, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and regulations. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to decision-making processes regarding safeguarding interventions.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding and support services, preferably within a local authority setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
