Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Wiltshire, where your expertise can make a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality support and intervention to children in care. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of the children entrusted to our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support to children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care and making necessary adjustments to care plans. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC team. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a child-centered approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.

Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Wiltshire Council is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic Safeguarding Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will help ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.

As a Children's Social Worker in our Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and support. Providing advice, guidance, and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding policies.
