Join our dedicated team in Wiltshire as a Social Worker specializing in Children In Care. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families and developing tailored support plans. Conducting regular visits to children in care and monitoring their progress. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Providing advocacy and support to children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with local and national guidelines.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care or within child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
