Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Support and Safeguarding Team in Wiltshire, where your expertise can make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. We are seeking passionate and qualified social workers who are committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in need of support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to support children and their families. Implementing intervention strategies and monitoring progress to ensure children's safety and well-being. Working closely with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support and safeguarding measures. Maintaining accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Providing advice and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
