Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker in the Derbyshire Clay Cross/Bolsover Team, where you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of children and families in our community. As a Social Worker, you will engage with individuals and families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Your expertise will help to safeguard vulnerable children and promote their welfare, working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to navigate challenges and access resources. Participating in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with diverse families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
