We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection/Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Canterbury, Kent. As a Qualified Social Worker in the CP/CIN Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies. Providing support and guidance to families, fostering positive relationships to encourage engagement.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
