We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Help & Protection team in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. This role is crucial in ensuring the welfare and safety of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As a qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to those in crisis.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote safety and well-being. Working closely with other professionals, including health services, educational institutions, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated response. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
