We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Locality Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate care plans. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote their well-being and safeguarding. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.The ideal candidate will possess:
A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within a Children's Services setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional standards and ethics.Additional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the locality.
