We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate FAST Social Worker to join our dynamic team in North Yorkshire, covering the Richmond, Northallerton, and Scarborough Town areas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting families and individuals in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in assessing needs, coordinating services, and developing tailored support plans to empower our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities.
