We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Court Adviser (A2) to join our dynamic team in the Qualified Social Work field. This role is crucial in supporting families and children involved in court proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are prioritized. As a Family Court Adviser, you will work closely with families, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to provide expert guidance and support throughout the court process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of family situations, including interviews and observations. Preparing detailed reports for court that outline findings and recommendations. Providing support and guidance to families navigating the court system. Collaborating with social services, legal representatives, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support. Attending court hearings to present findings and advocate for the best interests of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree in Social Work. Experience working with families and children in a social work context. Strong understanding of family law and court procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
