We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Families First Social Worker to join our dynamic team in FerryHill, Durham. As a Families First Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and ensure access to essential resources and services.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Developing and implementing individualized support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Monitoring progress and making adjustments to support plans as required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local regulations and best practices. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate support and share relevant information.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Proven experience in working with families, particularly in a social work context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
