We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Dudley - AP - Child in Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people in care. Your role will involve working collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for our vulnerable children.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing the needs of children and young people in care and developing appropriate care plans. Conducting regular reviews and monitoring progress to ensure the well-being of children. Building strong relationships with children, families, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and intervention. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and residential staff. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care or within child protection settings. Strong assessment, analytical, and report writing skills.
