Join our dedicated team in Coventry as a Qualified Social Worker within the AP - CP/CIN Team, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, ensuring that the needs of vulnerable children are met through effective intervention and support. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children in need, undertaking assessments, and developing robust care plans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and children in need cases. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
