Join our dedicated Children's TM - Youth Justice Team in Rotherham, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting and safeguarding young people within the youth justice system. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various agencies to promote positive outcomes and reduce reoffending. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing the needs of young offenders, developing intervention plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks of young people involved in the youth justice system. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and relevant stakeholders. Providing support and guidance to young people to help them make positive life choices and reintegrate into their communities. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to youth justice interventions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within youth justice or related fields. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
