Join our dedicated Children's TM - Permanence Team in Liverpool, where you will play a vital role in securing stable and loving homes for children in need. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children. Your expertise will help create and implement effective care plans that prioritize the well-being and safety of each child.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and reviewing care and support plans in partnership with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local policies while maintaining high standards of practice. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when required. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote the best interests of children and young people.To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have substantial experience in children's social work, particularly in permanence planning, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the legal framework surrounding children's services is essential.
