We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's TM - Locality Team Social Worker to join our team in Walsall. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children in need of support Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to safeguard their well-being Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and actions takenThe ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadIn addition to the above, candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage with training and supervision opportunities. Experience working in a similar role within a local authority setting would be advantageous.
