We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Team Manager to join our CWD/CIC Team in Nottingham. As a key leader in our Qualified Social Work field, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to children in need and those in care. Your role will involve managing a team of social workers, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and promoting best practices in child welfare.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting a team of social workers in the assessment and planning processes for children and families. Ensuring that all casework is conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews to foster professional development. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to deliver effective interventions and support services. Monitoring and evaluating service delivery to improve outcomes for children and young people.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree in Social Work. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in managing cases involving children with disabilities and those in care. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of improving team performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and partner agencies.
