Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Support & Protect Team in Sefton, where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, multi-agency partners, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our young people.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that support the safety and well-being of children. Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing a diverse caseload.
