Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Safeguarding Team in Bath and North East Somerset, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. We are looking for a passionate and qualified social worker who is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and intervention to those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to share information and coordinate support. Providing advice and support to families, helping them to access services and resources.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in safeguarding and working with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
