Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Referral and Assessment (R&A) Team in Nottingham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable children, ensuring their well-being, and providing support to families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's services, particularly in referral and assessment. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
