Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a motivated Children’s Social Worker to join our Referral and Assessment (R&A) Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they thrive in safe and nurturing environments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risk factors. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to referrals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in referral and assessment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing competing priorities.
