We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - MASH Team in Portsmouth. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding children and supporting families in need. You will work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework to assess and respond to referrals, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings, contributing to strategy discussions and decision-making processes. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within a MASH or safeguarding context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
