We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Care (CIC) Team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children in care.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations for interventions Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, advocating for their needs and rights Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working in a similar role within a Children's Services setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
