We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work Kinship Team in Bolton. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children in kinship care arrangements. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to kinship carers to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their kinship placements. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders. Providing support and guidance to kinship carers, ensuring they have the resources and tools needed to provide a safe and nurturing environment. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and services.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in kinship or foster care settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
