Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Integrated Front Door Team in Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, where you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and their families.
As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Working closely with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (degree in social work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
