As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and relevant agencies. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers and kinship placements. Ensuring compliance with legislation and safeguarding procedures while promoting the welfare of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work degree and current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, specifically within fostering or kinship care. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships.
