Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic Family Team in Birmingham as a Children’s Social Worker. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children while promoting their development and family stability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support families in crisis. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as necessary.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s social services, preferably within a family team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
