We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Dynamic Children’s Team (DCT) in Swindon. As a vital member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children, while promoting their welfare and development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Working closely with families to provide support and guidance, facilitating positive outcomes. Managing a caseload of children and young people, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Collaborating with schools, health services, and other stakeholders to safeguard children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child welfare.
