Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Sutton, where you will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker who is committed to delivering high-quality support and intervention. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the care and resources they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in line with statutory guidelines. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and legislation.To be considered for this position, you must have:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in children's social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
