Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Stockport, where your expertise can make a significant impact on the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is passionate about working with children with disabilities and their families, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating services to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans and making necessary adjustments to meet evolving needs. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available resources and services. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
