As a Children’s Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families. Providing direct support and interventions to children with disabilities and their families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to care and support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and supervision sessions to enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
