As a Children's Social Worker in the CWD Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to appropriate services and resources. Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and promote integrated service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (or equivalent body). Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
