Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Northamptonshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families facing complex challenges. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services to thrive. Your work will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting home visits, and developing tailored care plans that promote the well-being of children and empower families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing individual support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in team meetings and case reviews to contribute to service improvement.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience working within children's social services, preferably with children with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a commitment to safeguarding.
