Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? North Yorkshire is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker (CSW) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and caregivers to provide support and guidance. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Attending multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to best practices in social work.

In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, working collaboratively with families, and ensuring that their needs are met through effective interventions and support.
