As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the safety and welfare of children. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them to access necessary services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
